The M26 is a short connector between the M25 at Sevenoaks and the M20 at Wrotham, built so Channel traffic can switch orbitals without touching local roads. It closes overnight more often than most motorways because it doubles as a lorry holding area when Operation Brock is active. Live incidents and closures refresh every 5 minutes.
