The M8 at a glance

The M8 links Scotland's two biggest cities and is the busiest road in the country, carrying Glasgow's commuter traffic across the Kingston Bridge and out past the airport to Greenock. The city-centre section between J15 and J19 was never built to modern standards, which is why it queues in both directions most weekdays.
